Ayten works as a caretaker in an apartment building in an affluent neighborhood of Istanbul. Her life is turned upside down when her daughter is diagnosed with a rare and fatal disease. Unable to afford the only doctor capable of treating her, Ayten is forced to accept an offer from her neighbor, a retired general, to carry out a series of murders in exchange for money.
When Ayten poisons her first victim, unaware that he is a pilot, events spiral out of control and his plane crashes into a reception at Dolmabahçe Palace attended by G20 leaders. Meanwhile, Selim, a journalist living in the same building, claims the crash was an attack by a secret organization he invented, only to see the fictitious group unexpectedly gain support around the world.
As chief inspector Demet investigates the events, unaware that the crimes she is trying to solve are unfolding right under her nose, the personal struggles and decisions of the residents of a single apartment building escalate into global chaos.
