Inter Medya has closed another successful deal for Bitter Lands and Broken Wings on the second day of Mipcom. Bitter Lands, which scored record-breaking ratings in Turkey, was produced by TIMS&B Productions. Rapidly becoming a local and international hit and reaching worldwide, the series has now been licensed to Argentina for another big expansion. A period drama based in the 1970s and exhibiting all the classic hallmarks of Turkish Drama, it tells the heartbreaking love story of Zuleyha and Yilmaz. On the other hand, produced by Koliba Film, Broken Wings tells the story of four siblings who are left alone in poverty after their father’s sudden death and their struggle to survive. With strong storylines and high production values, both series attracted great success in the global market since their launch. These latest international deals once again reflect the series’ global appeal.
