Bayram, who was born and raised in Işıklar Village near Mudanya, and his blood brother Salih, who was his only friend while growing up, decide to sweeten their disagreement by betrothing their children Melek and Kerem at a young age. They continue to live in different cities until the kids grow up and reach the marriage age. Bayram, who has two children and has settled with his family in Istanbul, becomes wealthy and successful but never forgets his promise. On the day his young son Kerim graduates from university, he visits Salih in Işıklar Village, where Salih lives with his two daughters, Hülya and Melek. Salih, too, remains true to his promise, and with Bayram’s arrival, they solidify the decision for the children’s wedding. However, over the years, both families’ children have built their own lives with different passions and goals. The young couple makes decisions about this forced marriage among themselves and find solutions that provide relief. Little do they know that Hülya’s plans are already in motion, plans they never took into account.
