75 Years of Cinema Photo Collection brought to you by ITV Inter Medya

ITV Inter Medya shares original shots from Okan Family's Exclusive Photograph Collection which exhibits a 75-year-history of World Cinema.

The Okan Brothers entered the Film business by establishing Fono Film back in 1967. Tuncan Okan who was a well respected cinema critic founded the company together with his brothers Mehmet Dogan Okan and Ercan Okan. In the beginning Fono Film acted only as a distributor of foreign movies in Turkey. In those days the dubbing facilities in Turkey were very poor and the three brothers decided to open a modern dubbing studio which lead them to grow and build the biggest post production studio in the country which still operates as the most modern facility in Turkey. On the other hand, as a personal interest Tuncan Okan who was still writing film critics for daily “Milliyet” devoted himself to collect memorabilia from the World Cinema.

Can Okan, the son of Ercan Okan followed the footsteps of his family and became an active operative in many levels of the family business assuming a wide range of responsibilities at very early ages. This experience and accumulation culminated in the formation of ITV-Inter Medya which he founded in 1992. Since then Can Okan, CEO of ITV Inter Medya, carried the family tradition and keeps adding values to the collection.

With a 47-year-experience in the sector, The Okan Family’s exclusive archive consisting of thousands of unpublished photos of a 75-year-history of World Cinema which partly decorates the walls of ITV Inter Medya’s office is recently being exhibited on ITV Inter Medya’s social media accounts and meets cinema lovers.
