Craftsman Yakup and his wife Şemsa, migrated from Mardin to Berlin many years ago. The family, who live with their three children and grandchildren, settle down in Berlin and lead a happy life. But one day, unexpected news they receive from Mardin changes their lives. The call they receive is about their son Mikhael, who they lost twenty-five years ago. The pain they experienced all of those year ago, comes back to life with the alarming call they receive. Yakup and Şemsa immediately travel to Mardin together with their granddaughter Nardin. Returning to his village he left years ago, Yakup is shocked by what he sees. He finds the village abandoned and his house raided from top to bottom. Seeing that the door of the house has been stolen, Yakup decides to go after the door. In order to find it, Yakup sets off on an eventful journey travelling to Kayseri, then to Istanbul with his granddaughter Nardin and Remzi, the culprit who removed the door in the first place. Will Yakup be able to find the door that is of great importance to him?
